Cross stitch update!

Stephen is outside having some "man time" so I thought it would be a good time to try and get a little more posted out here on the old blog!

A cigar, some scotch, and a book about secret codes - what more could a man need?

I have been quite the busy little bee lately, just not with crafting. Don't worry though! I do have some projects from before Christmas that still haven't been posted.  Remember that cross stitch I started working on at Thanksgiving?  Are you dying for an update?  Well it is your lucky day!  Prepare to be marveled at the amount of progress I've made:

That's it?  Yes I know, it's not much.  Plus this picture was taken on December 6th.  It may as well have been taken yesterday though, because it looks exactly the same.  Oops...  But look at those palm trees!

I guess it will be a while before we're seeing any sunny beaches...

Beach House Cross-Stitch: This one will be going on forever

I haven't done a cross-stitch project for a while so I decided it was about time to try another.  I started this one on Thanksgiving and will try to post progress reports from time to time.  I think it sounds interesting, but maybe everyone else is thinking "Boooooooring!" Regardless, I picked up this cross stitch kit over a year ago and I'm excited to start working on it!  I bought this to go in my beach-themed bathroom at my old apartment, but since that room no longer exists (well, technically it does, but I doubt it's a beach bathroom anymore and it certainly isn't mine) who knows what this project will become!  I hope you enjoy seeing my project, and here's what you have to look forward to in the end:

Life's a beach!
